At Energy Sciences we conduct education and research in the field of energy.

Education

Courses are given e.g. in basic subjects such as thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer and turbulence, but also in more applied subjects such as energy use, energy supply, internal combustion engine technology, power plant technology, gas turbines and turbulent combustion.

Research

The Department's research ranges deep and wide and refers to phenomena and mechanisms, components, processes and systems. Modeling and simulation as well as experimental activities with laser-based measurement technology are typical elements.
